SEO is hard. Whaa, whaa, right? I can almost hear you saying it now. “Everyone’s job is hard.” Well I’m not sure if I agree with that. The guy who works at the movie theater looks like he has a pretty easy job to me. I mean he looks hungover half the time. But that is neither here nor there.
What I’m here to address today is a common theme in SEO, that being, the length of time it takes to rank for certain keywords. I’m bringing up this issue because there is a common misconception that SEO can happen overnight when in fact it definitely cannot.

Twitter lists are a simple new way for Twitter users to organize their contacts. The lists are created by users and appear in the right hand sidebar of a users profile.

When people are just getting into pay per click advertising they are often so excited to see traffic going to their site, that they don’t even think about whether it’s converting or not. As time progresses they start to realize, “who cares if people are going to my site, I’m not selling squat!”
That’s where landing pages come in. Because like a hotdog and a beer at a baseball game, pay per click and landing pages go hand in hand. Let me tell you why.
They Support Each Other
Sure you might convert some traffic if you are sending large amounts of visitors to your site. In fact, you could be converting a decent amount of traffic. But with a good landing page you can convert more traffic for less.

OK, there may not be one secret to GREAT blogging. But there are some things that can help you get the most out of your blog posts.
Determine the Purpose of Your Blog
What do you want to get out of your blog? Do you want to get press coverage, other bloggers to notice you, add keywords to your site, improve your internal linking, vent about a topic? Do you want your blog to go viral on social media? My guess is you probably want all of these things, right? But it’s not really that easy. First determine your goal, following that you can create a blog strategy that will help you accomplish your goal.
Keep your Demographic in Mind
When writing a blog, possibly the most important thing to focus on is tailoring it correctly to your reader. Write on the topics they like, write in a voice they like to read, and engage them as you would in a real world situation.
Comment on Hot Buttons in Your Industry
If you’re going to comment on something, make sure it is worth commenting on. There are always hot items in the news that related to your industry or niche.

In this post I’m going to give you the basics of SEO so that next time you’re chatting it up with some Internet folk you have something to say.
What is SEO?
SEO stands for “Search Engine Optimization,” and that is exactly what SEO experts try to do, optimize an online search engine, like Google, Yahoo, MSN, Live, Ask, or AOL for search. But what exact do they mean by optimize for search? This means that SEO experts are trying to make your website appear higher on the search engine results page when people search for terms related to your site. We call these terms keywords.
